Except Wolfram hadn't known it at the time... ... It had been over ten years since then...
... This time, Wolfram knows a little more. Just enough to get around.
Yuuri even had helped teach Wolfram all about the technology of the other world back then, and its communicator --
-- slowly, Wolfram had begun to learn it better on Wolfram's own. "Moving pictures" still bemused Wolfram in many ways, but...
... Somehow, Wolfram had been able to work this world's communicator and navigate it -- this time without "needing" Yuuri's help. ]

I've been told I'll be able "to keep" my abilities in this location. However, they appear to be somewhat limited.
If there are others here with Fire-based powers, I would be interested in sparring with you as a means of training our abilities.
That said -- this would be along the lines of professional combat training.
... I suppose it might be fine if someone could cause fires for such training even by other means -- or even if not having those abilities, as well.. I would still be able to use those.

Easy and melodic, while melancholic in a way, it's a sound that carries in the air. Zero has been practicing his violin multiple times per day since he arrived about a month ago, ever since Rumi took him to get one from the music shop. He's no prodigy by any means, but it'd be hard to tell that, up until his presence, here, the last time he really played was over seven centuries ago. Absurd or not, it hadn't taken much for him to re-learn how to read music and play.

For most of the time since, however, he's mostly stuck to keeping to himself while playing, only somewhat recently having gone out in public. Albeit, still on the private side, considering how no one tends to be up on rooftops (or none, so far as he's encountered).

Nevertheless, tonight he's doing more improvising than anything, eyes closed as he plays.

[This is a Music Club mingle for the upcoming New Year's live! Tag each other, have characters work on their WIPs and talk shop, make plans! This covers multiple meetings throughout the month, so characters can attend one or many and have threads take place at any time.

Special note for plotting: The New Year's live will lead into an optional player plot this year. The bulk of it will be the "musical episode" trope where characters are compelled to sing; the subplots running beside it will focus on a few characters and involve one character becoming possessed, another falling into a coma and wandering the collective unconscious, and both being cured at the end of the event by a journey into the mind. Any Music Club member player who wishes to have their characters perform at the concert but be exempt from the plot can simply have them leave the arena before the final performance at midnight and miss the broadcast.]

Activity Check-in Concluded

Hello, everyone!

Our November AC Check-in has now concluded and characters that didn't check in have been removed! If you forgot or just couldn't make it somehow, we have one week grace period where you can app back as normal! So you can app back before November 7th, 23:59 PST! After that you will have to wait a month before applying back to the game (so after January 1st)!

Special Surprise

Starting from December 1st and continuing onto December 31st, there's a chance of receiving a seal plushie of approval in the mail. This cute little seal plushie will tell its owner positive things to make them feel validated when hugged - and especially say it approves of them and what they're doing. Due to being magical, it never runs out of 'battery'.

It also has some candy canes and gingerbread cookies with it in a bag. 'Tis the season.

't is reaching the time of year where the seasonal festivities lean more into the colder regions of this world.

[Baizhu's voice holds its usual gentle, almost lazy tone. The background shows him to be in his shop, with the wall behind him lined with dozens of small drawers. There's a white snake with pink eyes draped loosely around his shoulders.]

With that being the case I would venture all to be mindful of their health, particularly when moving quickly between colder and warmer areas. If anyone finds themselves with a need for herbal supplements, tinctures, or teas to support immunity and good health, I would invite you to visit my pharmacy in Sunwaning.

The video feed opens to show one of the starter apartments. It's been decorated comfortably with what look like sports team posters and... well... that's a lot of HUNTR/X posters, too. It kind of looks like one of everything from their section of the Otherworlder Merch Shop. A second later a tall figure steps into view. Bright white and dark grey markings with what looks to be a smooth maroon shell..? The turtle is wearing what looks like soft leggings with square holes cut into the outsides of them, from ankle to hip, a simple red cropped t-shirt, a HUNTR/X pendant on a chain and a blue and white trucker cap with a Thunderbird symbol on it. He gives the camera a wave and a bright, charmingly crooked smile, setting a hand on his hip, quirking them out to the side, appealingly.

"Aaniin, Ellipsa! Name's Ishkode and I'm here to prove a claim I made on the SajaBoys game post the other day."

As he speaks, he starts pulling his arms across his chest, one a time, obviously stretching them out a bit. He gives his shoulders a roll afterwards, his smile mischievous.

"One of my 'two truths' was that I can do a full side split and grab my ankles in a back bend. Leshy's bet me that I can't so... watch closely~"

He turns side on to the camera to allow a good view and, shifting his feet a bit, leans into a backbend with practiced ease, his hands hitting the carpet so he's in a deep bridge. He holds that only briefly, before he walks his hands and his feet toward one another, letting his knees bend to keep his balance as he folds up in the middle more. Even with a shell?! It seems his oddly smooth shell is actually softer than one would think!

He gets his hands and heels close to one another, takes a second to get his balance, before he lifts his hands and grabs hold of his ankles, as promised. He holds that for another second before he sets his hands back down on the carpet and hefts his legs up over his head, pulling himself into a handstand. He uses his momentum to turn himself again as he drops his legs out sideways into a mid air split. He lowers himself down to the carpet, keeping his legs wide like that and presses into a side split easily, his hands bracing on the floor as he straightens his back to grin at the camera again.

"There's my proof~ That's only some of what I can do, though. If you're curious and want to see me in action, come check out the Dealer's Den one of these nights! I do shows there regularly so come pick up a drink and catch a performance or two if you're old enough! We'll be glad to serve you~"

He leans down onto his elbows and rolls forward, pulling his legs around so he can hop back up onto his feet and walk over to the camera, leaning in close.

"You owe me one, God of Chaos~"

He says, tilting his head to grin and make a finger heart at the camera before throwing it a wink and reaching to switch the feed off.

HEYO! I guess this world likes kidnapping people too! I mean I get it, yer bosses need people to like, help save it and everything - but there's a whole system of like, processing and everything. Very corpo in a way - I'd be more worried if they didn't like, totally answer all my questions and everything.

Though whoever's in charge should probably just put the whole 'this is the world' thing on a faster power point or something because snooooooooooore city and maaaaaaaybe don't do the whole white thing? Kinda culty. M'surprised not more people didn't freak the hell out in there! Not that I'd blame them but ya'll gotta pay your people more for all the stuff they gotta do with intake and shit.

Definitely appreciate the digs though! Not a fan of losing my stuff for a bit but we're gucci since it's all there and I got it back!

SO! I got the down low from them - world ta save - powers and stuff, cool cool - don't have those yet. Things happen from time to time because of the magic or whatever--reminds me of the hotel and the clock tower--do you guys at least have the fourth floor of buildings around here? Hope so. That was weird in the LAST place I got whisked away to.

Oh right ya'll might not know me--or you might if there's doubles of me here! There's probably doubles of me here if you need heroes to fix problems for ya but ANYWAY--name's Sonic! Ya can call me that or Blue. Just don't call me late for dinner because that's a crime. I answer to either.

[She had seen this happen a few times on the network. Being from an alternative 1960s, social media was still a rather big unknown for Yor. But, it seemed like fun! Besides, Yor had been practicing this and was quite proud of herself.

She turned on the video and leaned the phone against something so it showed her and the kitchen.]

I think I finally got this microwave thing down! My husband is coming home in a few minutes, so I'd like him to try it but first, I wanted to show everyone what I am making!

[She lifted a printed piece of paper showing a mug with a brownie inside, on top was "Brownie in a Mug recipe".]

I didn't know you could make single serving stuff like this and in that microwave of all things! I'm... really not good at baking or cooking, but I've been trying my best to improve.

[She flushed in embarrassment, but shook it off to grab the aforementioned mug and some of the baking supplies.]

A-Anyway, let's do it together! And then, we can watch Loid taste it since if I got my timing right, it should be done right when he gets home. Hehe. And please, let me know how yours turned out!

[She read the instructions out loud as she began preparing the brownie mixture, clearly concentrating on getting everything as exact as possible and to not mess anything up (although a few of the dry ingredients did end up on the countertop anyway).]

There! That ought to do it... oh, some more chocolate chips!

[She grabbed a handful to "sprinkle" on top (she added a lot). Then, set it in the microwave for 90 seconds and watched with a light bounce as the numbers ticked down, but also glancing at the door. That's when the phone decided to slip and fall, camera now pointed at the ceiling.]
